Job DescriptionThe Lundbyleden project is a collaboration with the City of Gothenburg, enabling development around Backaplan and Brunnsbo. The production is driven by four contractors and is planned to be completed by 2030. The client organization consists of a highly competent team that, together with contractors and designers, will ensure the project's execution.

We are now looking for an engaged and collaborative contract manager who will become an important part of our team and lead one of the four contracts in the exciting Lundbyleden project. In this role, you are responsible for leading and driving a contract awarded as a construction contract, with an expected turnover close to one billion SEK. You will work closely with the contractor and create a strong and functional collaboration through sound business conduct and proactive leadership.
Your responsibilities:
- lead and monitor the contract's execution within time, cost, and scope frameworks
- ensure that project goals are met and that the economy stays within budget
- contribute your experience and competence to the entire project and support the team in various aspects of execution
- actively promote efficient and good collaboration between all parties
- undergo internal training as needed to further develop in your role
Your leadership is characterized by building trust, clarifying direction, and delivering results. You have the ability to communicate clearly and pedagogically, both with colleagues and external stakeholders. Through clear communication regarding expectations and goals, you delegate and follow up. You inspire, create involvement, and drive development. We are looking for someone who challenges and questions, and creates a culture that promotes continuous improvement and sees collaboration as a prerequisite. You are proactive, structured, and quality-conscious in your commitments. Your analytical ability is important, where you can see the big picture and connections in complex issues, often with conflicting interests, with the ability to resolve these issues.
You are motivated by active employee participation, where you consciously take responsibility for your tasks while being mindful of how you are part of and contribute to the whole by collaborating with others.
We are looking for someone who has
- a university degree, technical focus, at least 180 credits (120 credits) or alternatively another education that we, together with experience from the construction and infrastructure industry, assess as equivalent
- several years of current and relevant professional experience from a role such as project management, construction management, site manager, or foreman in road/railway, or alternatively another role we can assess as equivalent
- current and relevant experience from several contracts, where at least one is from a major contract
- experience in coordinating and monitoring contract work, reviewing and creating schedules, and cost periodization over time
- some negotiation experience
- experience from leading ongoing construction work and setting requirements for quality and execution
- good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
- valid driver's license for passenger car
It is meritorious if you have
- documented education in Contract Law, Client's Occupational Health and Safety Responsibility, Base P/U, Measurement and Compensation Rules (MER), and/or Work on Road
