The Unit's Mission
On the National Assessment and Planning division, we provide remote service and support to job seekers and employers. This area has overall responsibility for support and service to job seekers with no, low, or moderate need for support, as well as employers with low or moderate needs for support in their recruitment. The office also houses the Coordinated Support area, which has overall responsibility for providing coordinated support to job seekers with high support needs and employers open to broadened recruitment.
We work together in an environment where collaboration and collegial support are central to creating a vibrant atmosphere. The workplace is located at the Swedish Public Employment Service's office in Karlskrona.
Job Description
The tasks are multifaceted and may change based on operational needs. In this role, you are expected to work independently and be available to both colleagues and partners. It is important that you have a good attitude towards people, enjoy working with service, and thrive in interaction with others.
You are responsible for the daily operations of the office. This includes, for example, contacting landlords, building technicians, the Premises Supply unit, cleaning staff, recycling partners, and other recurring collaborators. You handle the receipt and ordering of packages and deliveries.
You carry out any rearrangements and internal moves within the premises and ensure good order and tidiness. This requires the ability to connect technical equipment, such as monitors, computers, and other technical aids. Some other practical tasks related to the building are also handled by the caretaker.
You will also conduct self-inspections of alarm and fire protection according to SBA standards, as well as inventory checks of assets. You receive and order deliveries, and handle the receipt and delivery of computers and other electronic equipment. Additionally, you prepare premises for trade fairs and other internal and external meetings.
Responsibility for the office's orders of consumables and some other administrative tasks are part of the role, including ensuring that consumables are stocked and replenished.

This is a permanent position at 80% with a start date as soon as possible after September 1st. The location is Karlskrona, and the duties require physical presence.

Basic Requirements for the Position
- Completed and approved upper secondary education (certificate to be attached to the application)
- At least one year of experience working as a caretaker or in a similar service function
- Valid B-driver's license
- Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
Additional Merits for the Position
- Experience with basic building maintenance and caretaking work in an office environment
- Experience working in web-based ordering or case management systems
- Experience handling and troubleshooting technical office equipment
- Experience working with safety and fire protection issues
- Good ability to plan, prioritize, and organize your work independently
