Do you want to work in a central role where you can combine procurement and business development through our procurement system? We are now looking for a driven and solution-oriented system administrator who wants to help develop our e-commerce and procurement processes for the City of Västerås.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that our e-commerce system and our procurement-related processes function efficiently and support the needs of the operations. You will work together with three colleagues on this assignment, and the work is varied, containing both operational and strategic elements. You will work closely with procurers, category managers, finance, and operations to ensure that our procurement and invoice flows maintain high quality and continue to develop.

An important part of the assignment is to administer and develop our systems. This includes, among other things, handling master data, administering permissions, attestation roles, and delegations, as well as ensuring that organizational structures and delivery addresses are correct and up to date. You are also responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in ordering and invoice flows, and you support operations with questions regarding orders, deliveries, and order matching. The role also involves participating in procurements with a focus on e-commerce and invoice management.

In addition to routine administration, you will have an active role in our development work. You will drive and implement changes in systems and working methods, participate in the introduction of new ordering channels and digital solutions, and take part in development initiatives and user forums.

To provide the operations with good decision support, you also work with follow-up and analysis. You produce statistics, reports, and material related to procurement and invoice management, and contribute with analyses of purchasing patterns, contract compliance, and system usage. Through your work, you contribute to strengthening governance, increasing efficiency, and ensuring that the city's resources are used in the best possible way.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience working in procurement systems, preferably Visma Proceedo or similar, and you have a good understanding of invoice management and financial flows. You have experience with permission administration, and we view experience with master data management as a positive attribute. We want you to have experience and knowledge of e-commerce and ordering processes, and if you also have experience with public procurement, it is a plus.

As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and have a genuine interest in developing working methods and processes. You are responsible and can independently drive your work forward. You thrive in collaborations and have an easy time building trust-based relationships. Since you collaborate with both users and suppliers, you have the ability to adapt your communication and are both clear and pedagogical.

You work at the intersection of operations, finance, procurement, and digital development, becoming an important part of the work to create efficient, sustainable, and quality-assured processes. We offer an independent and varied job where you get significant responsibility, good development opportunities, and engaged colleagues who are happy to share their knowledge.

Send us your application and become part of our work for smarter and more sustainable procurement in the City of Västerås.

What we offer

Here, you have the opportunity to combine system administration, business development, and collaboration with many different parts of the organization. You will become an important part of the Unit for Strategic Procurement and contribute to creating efficient, user-friendly, and quality-assured processes that make a difference for the entire city's operations.

We believe in trust and freedom under responsibility. This means that you plan your working day yourself, have flextime, and the possibility to work remotely for part of the time.
