As a Sales Associate in the Delicatessen Counter, you are responsible for performing all common store tasks and ensuring the best possible customer service. You are an important face of the store and work according to Coop's guidelines, routines, and values. You are a key person in the meeting with the customer and in the work to create a pleasant and inspiring store environment.

We are looking for you who are service-oriented, positive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you meet many people every day. You take responsibility, collaborate well with others, and actively contribute to an inclusive work environment. To succeed in the role, we see that you have good physical fitness as the work may involve heavy lifting, and that you have a strong will to learn and develop in your role.

Main responsibilities

• Product ordering
• Restocking and facing of goods
• Creating attractive product displays
• Working at the delicatessen counter

But may also include

• Checkout duties
• Handling complaints and returns according to routines
• Self-control, cleaning, and tidiness in the store, warehouse, and staff areas
• Maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment
• Following physical inventory and shrinkage routines
• Contributing to continuous improvements and a good work environment

Depending on the store's needs, you may also work with:

• Returns, receiving checks, and delivery notes
• Handling CAO (Central Administration Office tasks)
• Price labeling and campaign signage
• Price changes
• Opening and closing the store according to current routines.

The position is a permanent employment of 30h/week with immediate start or as agreed. Working hours vary and are scheduled during day and evening times as well as weekends. We apply a probationary period. Recruitment is ongoing and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Requirements

• Good Swedish skills in speech and writing are required
• 18 years of age as you need to work independently at the checkout
• Punctuality

Merits:

• Experience and competence from retail and/or other service professions are meritorious
• High school education.
• Multilingualism.
• Basic knowledge of store economics or food handling.
