The Urology Clinic is a separate unit within the Surgical Department, where staff take significant responsibility for developing and advancing care, as well as planning their workdays based on factors such as the number of scheduled patient visits and examinations.

Ward A4 provides both acute and elective care within surgical and urological specialties. The ward has 18 beds. If you are eager to learn and want to gain broad competence in surgical nursing, you might be our new nursing assistant.

This is a combined position where you will work for 10 weeks on Ward A4 (Surgical Department) and then for 10 weeks at our Urology Clinic.

Your Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant at the Urology Clinic, you will assist doctors during examinations and minor surgeries, as well as perform wound dressings. You will also manage sterile goods and inventory orders.

On Ward A4 (Surgical Department), you will be part of the patient care team. You will assist with personal care when needed and help prepare patients for surgery, X-rays, and other procedures.

As a nursing assistant, you are also responsible for conducting checks and sample collections. In addition to specific routines, you handle laundry, storage, and orders.

The position includes evening and weekend shifts.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with at least two years of experience in the profession, and preferably experience in surgical and urological care and nursing.

Experience with the medical record system TakeCare is an advantage.

You are an open person who is flexible and positively inclined towards new challenges and tasks.

Personal suitability is given great weight.

A background check via an extract from the criminal record register will be conducted prior to the hiring decision.
