Sandviken Norra Health Centre is one of the larger health centres in Region Gävleborg, with approximately 10,700 registered patients. We are a team of over 50 employees working in close collaboration across different professions to promote, prevent, and achieve good health for the residents of western Gästrikland. Job Responsibilities

The position is varied and includes telephone advice, where you will receive support and the opportunity to grow into the role in a secure manner. We know that telephone advice can feel challenging, but here you will receive a well-structured and individualized introduction. You will shadow experienced colleagues, listen, and gradually take on your own calls under supervision.

As a district nurse/registered nurse with us, you will primarily work with:

• Reception work - receiving patients of all ages for assessments, sample collection, and treatments.
• Wound care, blood pressure checks, and vaccinations.
• Counseling.
• Home visits.
• Acute primary care patients.
• Participation in the supervision of students.

Qualifications

In the role of district nurse/registered nurse, you must:

• Be a licensed registered nurse or district nurse.
• Hold a valid Category B driver's license.

Previous experience working in primary care is meritorious.

A probationary period may be applied. Selection and interviews take place continuously during the application period.
