Your Role

Working as a Group Manager for UH Technology means being responsible for and ensuring that the right competence, capacity, and prerequisites exist to carry out maintenance operations safely, efficiently, and in a long-term sustainable manner. The assignment involves leading, developing, and staffing the group based on the needs of the operations. The role is to support operational activities by providing the right technical competence and creating conditions for coordination and flexibility between technical areas. The assignment also includes strengthening competence supply, collaboration, and development capabilities within the maintenance organization.

You will lead a team of approximately thirty employees and be responsible for working environment, employee reviews, salary, and rehabilitation. The role is new, and we are looking for someone who wants to help develop it forward. You will have close collaboration with your direct manager, functional leaders, and employees.

We are looking for someone who has

• Relevant technical education or equivalent experience in maintenance or process operations.
• Experience in personnel leadership or coordination of staff.
• Experience in competence planning and staffing optimization.
• Knowledge of working environment issues and labor law processes.
• Understanding of maintenance operations and technical competence needs.

Meritorious experience

• Maintenance operations within the energy or process industry.
• Work in a matrix organization or cross-functional collaboration.

Personal skills

• Ability to lead and develop employees based on operational needs.
• Ability to plan and ensure long-term competence supply.
• Ability to create collaboration in a cross-functional organization.
• Ability to balance operational requirements, resource utilization, and employee perspectives.
• Ability to structure, make clear prioritizations, and follow-ups.
