Your responsibilities

You lead and drive detailed planning processes from start to finish, responsible for balancing various interests and making complex assessments based on legislation and the city's strategic goals. You prepare detailed plans and accompanying documents, such as plan maps and plan descriptions, either independently or in collaboration with colleagues. Your ability to communicate and collaborate is crucial. The role involves extensive contact and cooperation with developers, consultants, other departments, and citizens. You chair consultation meetings and present your cases to the Building Committee.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university education, such as a planning architect, and have a strong interest in urban planning. You have good knowledge of PBL (Planning and Building Act), the Environmental Code, and in constructing detailed plans. It is an advantage if you have good skills in sketching and design, as well as in the systems Focus Detailed Plan, GIS, and AutoCAD, and if you have experience working with municipal physical planning. You understand complex linguistic materials and produce your own high-quality texts in Swedish. In meetings with others, you speak well-formulated and engaged, both in small meetings and during large presentations. At the same time, you are receptive to others' knowledge and ideas.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or alternatively a certificate of residence together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the obligation to have a work permit.
