Habo Kost is now looking for a kitchen assistant for our central kitchen – a newly renovated, modern, and well-equipped kitchen with a good working environment.

We prepare meals for preschools, schools, elderly care, and a lunch restaurant. Here, we combine classic Swedish home cooking with new flavors and work actively with sustainability, quality, and local ingredients.

Since we prepare food for several different operations, the work is varied, and you will have ample opportunity to influence and take responsibility in your work. You will become part of a team where we help each other and work together to create good dining experiences for our guests.

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays and weekends, and some evenings may occur as we occasionally have meetings or training.

We help each other during absences, so sometimes you may work in other kitchens.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a kitchen assistant in the central kitchen, you will work with all common tasks in a large-scale kitchen.

This includes, among other things:

• making fresh and varied salads with seasonal ingredients
• preparing bread rolls and coffee carts
• packing goods
• serving guests in our restaurant
• dishwashing
• transporting food trolleys with a forklift

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have basic training in large-scale kitchens or experience that we assess as equivalent.

You are comfortable using a computer in your daily work, for example, to receive orders from our customers and access recipes.

Since the work involves a lot of contact with both colleagues and customers, you need to be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

To thrive in the role, you need to be able to plan and work independently, while also collaborating well with others. We would appreciate it if you contribute ideas and want to develop the business together with your colleagues.

Merits:

• Driver's license and access to a car, as work may take place in several of our kitchens during absences.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Start date by agreement.
