Care Assistants for Alarm Teams – Home Care Uppsala

Forenede Care operates several home care units in Uppsala, as well as night patrols and on-call services. The Municipality of Uppsala has decided to transition from LOV (Choice System) to LOU (Public Procurement), and in connection with this, a quality procurement was conducted which Forenede Care won.

As part of this development, we are now launching alarm teams – an important initiative to strengthen the security and safety of our users.

Here, you work in an organization with short decision-making paths and close leadership, creating good conditions for quick action and adapting work to the needs of both users and employees.

About the Role

The alarm team plays a central role and is responsible for responding to alarms received from the security on-call service. The tasks are varied and require:

• The ability to make quick and independent decisions
• Confidence in your professional role
• Flexibility and initiative

We work with person-centered care, where the individual is always the focus.

Teamwork is one of our greatest strengths – you collaborate closely with colleagues, nurses, rehabilitation staff, unit managers, and planners. Together, we develop the operations and create security for our users.

Each alarm team consists of two people. Two alarm teams are on duty daily between 07:00–22:00 (split between day/evening shifts).

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a trained care assistant and thrive in an independent and varied role.

We would like you to:

• Have experience working in home care
• Be confident in making assessments and prioritizing in different situations
• Have a good manner and high service awareness
• Have good collaboration skills and take responsibility in your work

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Trained care assistant (Undersköterska)

About the Position

• Permanent employment with a 6-month probation period
• Work time: 80-95%
• Start date: According to agreement

Responsibilities

• Respond to alarms from the security on-call service
• Make quick assessments and perform nursing care interventions
• Document according to current routines
• Collaborate with colleagues and other professions
