Here, you get to use your professional skills for something that matters – creating delicious, nutritious meals for children, students, and the elderly in their daily lives. We are looking for you who have a passion for cooking and want to contribute to making every meal a positive experience.

We have just opened a new, modern production kitchen at Ytterby School and are embarking on an exciting development journey. We are now expanding our team and looking for you who want to be part of it from the start as we take the next step in our meal service mission.

Today, we prepare approximately 1,750 portions per day – and in the future, the assignment will grow even further as we will also deliver meals to the municipality's care and nursing homes. In autumn 2026, we will also launch our new concept "Meal as an Activity," where the meal becomes an important part of well-being, community, and quality of life.

Here, you become part of an engaged team where we help each other, share knowledge, and develop our work together. You will work in a larger context with a clear purpose – to create meals that people look forward to.

Responsibilities

• Planning and preparation of meals, including special diets and consistency-adapted food.
• Handling deliveries to receiving kitchens.
• Greeting and serving our guests in the school restaurant.
• Preparation and cleanup work in the kitchen.
• Guidance of staff when needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained chef with documented good cooking skills and strong professional pride. You have at least five years of experience working as a chef, preferably in both large-scale production and restaurant operations.

Requirements for the position:

• Trained chef.
• Documented good cooking skills, with at least five years of experience working as a chef.
• Good computer skills and ability to handle digital systems, orders, and administration.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work in a structured, careful, and high-quality manner even at a high pace.
• Ability to work with meals for elderly care, including consistency adaptation and desserts.
• Ability to prepare traditional Swedish home cooking and vegetarian food.
• Ability to work according to self-control programs and current food regulations.

Merits:

• Good knowledge of preparing special diets.
• Experience with diet software.
• Logistics regarding food deliveries.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.

Selection and interviews will take place on a rolling basis.
