About Us
District and combined heat and power (CHP) are vital parts of Sweden's energy system and play a central role in the energy transition. Within E.ON's district heating operations, the Fuel Supply & Fuel Management teams are responsible for securing fuel supply to our district heating and CHP plants in Malmö, Norrköping, Stockholm, and Örebro. Our mission is to ensure that the right fuel is in the right place, at the right time, and of the right quality. By planning and optimizing the flow of forest fuels, recovered wood, waste, biogas, and bio-oils, we contribute to stable and efficient energy production for our customers.
Your Role
As a Fuel Logistician, you are responsible for the ongoing planning and follow-up of fuel deliveries to the Åbyverket plant in Örebro. Through your work, you ensure that the operations have the prerequisites needed to deliver district heating every day. Safety is a natural part of the work and permeates everything we do.
The role involves many contact points and close collaboration with colleagues within fuel, production, and operations. You monitor the business's needs, adapt planning based on changing conditions, and translate overarching agreements into detailed delivery plans. The role is primarily focused in Örebro but involves close collaboration with colleagues in the fuel operations in Norrköping, Stockholm, and Malmö.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Planning, ordering, and following up on fuel deliveries
- Maintaining ongoing dialogue with suppliers, transporters, and contractors
- Analyzing inventory and delivery situations, and balancing fuel flows
- Working with financial follow-up, reporting, and invoice management
- Contributing to the development of working methods, processes, and system support
Your Experience
We are looking for someone with experience in logistics, purchasing, or supply chain. Experience from the energy sector, forestry industry, or other process industries is advantageous, as is knowledge of biofuels and fuel flows. Experience with Viol3 or similar follow-up systems is a plus.
As a person, we see that you appreciate creating structure and finding solutions in an operation where conditions sometimes change quickly. With an analytical approach, you tackle challenges, prioritize when necessary, and drive work forward in a pragmatic way. You build good relationships through collaboration and open communication, while feeling confident in being clear, setting expectations, and driving issues forward when needed.
What is it like working with us?
Your manager, Martin Lindström, looks forward to welcoming you to the team. Martin has a coaching leadership style with a focus on self-leadership and the belief that we become better together. You will become part of an engaged team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life, and where we support each other to succeed together.
We warmly welcome you to apply and join us on the path to a sustainable society! The application deadline is August 7th.
