Sydnärke Education Association is a municipal association located in Hallsberg, with Askersund, Hallsberg, and Laxå as member municipalities. On behalf of the member municipalities, we lead and are responsible for upper secondary education, adult education, and commissioned training. We offer 12 national upper secondary programs, introductory programs, as well as adapted upper secondary school. We have a total of approximately 1,800 students, of whom 1,300 are at Alléskolan and 500 at Allévux. We have around 300 employees, and in daily work, support is available in the form of functions such as administration, HR, finance, and IT. About the Job
As Property Manager / Deputy Property Director, you have the overall responsibility for the association's premises and properties, covering approximately 25,000 m². We are looking for you who combine technical competence with a present and clear leadership style.
In the role of Property Manager / Deputy Property Director, you lead and develop the property and service unit together with three engaged employees. You are responsible for budgets, investment, and maintenance plans, while ensuring that laws, regulations, and authority requirements are met. Your work involves both ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and that the business always receives professional and high-quality service. An important part of the assignment is to drive development issues with a focus on long-term sustainable and functional premises that meet future needs.
You work closely with school leadership, business representatives, and external partners. The position combines strategic decisions with operational responsibility, making the work both varied and developmental.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- Experience in property management and technical property operations, preferably within public sector operations
- Experience in budgeting and long-term planning
- Relevant post-secondary education in property management or a technical background assessed as equivalent
- Category B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Additionally, the following is meritorious:
- Documented experience in leading, inspiring, and developing employees
