About the Social Services Department

The Social Services Department is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer interventions grounded in legislation such as the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Functional Impairments (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This may involve ensuring a secure and meaningful daily life for older adults, supporting individuals with disabilities, or being there for children, youth, and adults in vulnerable situations. At our workplace, you will meet every individual with respect and professionalism. We collaborate across professional boundaries – both within our department, with other parts of the municipality, and with external partners. To ensure quality and development, we actively work with follow-up, improvement initiatives, and digitalization.

Responsibilities

You will be part of our service team performing cleaning duties in clients' private homes. Documentation is also included in the role. You will collaborate with colleagues and other professional groups to ensure every individual receives a respectful welcome and appropriate service according to their approved support decisions. The work requires attentiveness, flexibility, and the ability to build trusting relationships.

Requirements & Merits

• Requirements: Strong communication skills in Swedish (both spoken and written). Valid B-driver's license (for both manual and automatic transmission vehicles).
• Meritorious experience: Previous experience with cleaning in healthcare, elderly care, or public sector operations.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and your ability to become an integral part of our professional team. Since the role covers both urban and rural areas, cycling is required.
