About the workplace

You will belong to the Development Department, which runs cultural and leisure activities, supports the association sector, and develops business life in the municipality. This is a role for you who want to contribute to creating community, growth, and activity throughout the municipality. You will work together with colleagues who have different specialist areas and experiences, and together we work to make the municipality a more attractive place to live and work in.

We need to strengthen our youth activities as our regular youth leader will next year focus more on crime prevention work for children and young people. You will become part of an engaged team and with us you will get a varied and meaningful job where you contribute to creating a meaningful leisure time for the municipality's young residents.

Your responsibilities

Your assignment will include among other things:

• Plan, implement, and develop leisure activities together with the young people.
• Create a safe and welcoming meeting place for everyone.
• Organize activities, events, and themed evenings.
• Collaborate with schools, associations, guardians, and other municipal operations.
• Work promotively and preventively to strengthen young people's well-being and participation.

Your personality

You are secure, engaged, and relationship-building. You inspire and enthuse others, not least the children and young people you meet. You are flexible, responsible, and enjoy working both independently and in teams.

Competence and qualifications

We are looking for you who have a completed upper secondary education. Work with children and young people, in your professional role, through association engagement or equivalent is meritorious.

An extract from the criminal record will be requested.

Other requirements:

• Category B driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written
• Good computer skills

Duration/working hours

Fixed-term employment 50 % position until 2026-12-31. Start date according to agreement.

Salary

According to agreement. The municipality applies individual salary setting.
