To our co-teaching group Oasen, we are looking for a teacher who wants to help elevate and strengthen our operations. Oasen is a standalone, operation-integrated teaching group with space for 10-12 students in grades 4-9. The core teaching staff consists of two teachers and one special needs educator. Subject teachers in other subjects (in addition to the core group) also participate in the teaching.
Your responsibilities
Your task as a teacher/special needs teacher is to teach in our co-teaching group Oasen. You work closely with the school's two special needs educators in the daily student-focused work. You help create conditions for differentiated teaching to meet our students' differences and needs for support. You provide direct instructional support to individual students or students in smaller groups. You will be a mentor to some students and have close collaboration with guardians.
Who are you?
Solklintsskolan is looking for you who are a qualified teacher and seeking a position that can develop over time in line with the life you want to live. Teacher certification with special pedagogical competence is meritorious. You have competence in reading, writing, and mathematics learning. We assume that you are well-versed in the curriculum. Knowledge of NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and IF (Individual Development Plans) is also meritorious. You have experience working as a teacher.
We want you to be a person who is engaged, responsive, and has a positive attitude. You need to have a good ability to inspire and motivate students to learn. It is important that you find it easy to collaborate within the special pedagogical team and with the work team at the school. There is value in your ability to create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. The work requires your ability to be flexible, able to plan, organize, prioritize, and create structure. A prerequisite for the work is having an inclusive and relational approach.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and suitability.
