We work close to the operations and support the organization in conducting legally secure, sustainable, and cost-effective business.

Currently, the department consists of three tender specialists, a tender coordinator, a contract manager, and a department head. Together, we drive the development of procurement and tendering work through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a constant focus on improvements. You will have the opportunity to influence working methods and contribute to long-term value creation for the operations.

We work in modern premises at Munktellstorget in central Eskilstuna – an inspiring work environment focusing on proximity, collaboration, and convenience. There is an opportunity to work partially remotely.

Job Responsibilities

As a tender coordinator, you have a central role in our procurement and tendering work. You work close to the operations and are a key link between buyers, tender specialists, and suppliers. The role combines operational work with development and support, where you contribute to ensuring our procurements are conducted in a business-oriented, sustainable, and legally secure manner.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Coordinate the organization's procurement needs and ensure the correct procurement procedure is used.
• Conduct direct procurements, renewed competitive tenders, and other simpler tenders.
• Be responsible for administration, follow-up, and extension of contracts, as well as keeping the contract catalog updated.
• Support and guide buyers in matters concerning procurement, contracts, routines, and regulations.
• Contribute to the development of efficient working methods, routines, and templates, as well as train and support colleagues within the procurement area.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have relevant education in procurement, economics, or law. You may also have work experience assessed as equivalent. It is an advantage if you have experience working with procurement or tendering, preferably within the public sector. You have a good understanding of structured and legally secure procurement processes and are confident in interpreting and applying regulations in practice. Experience with direct procurement and contract follow-up is meritorious.

As a person, you work methodically and independently, while also having good collaboration skills. You are communicative, pedagogical, and thrive in a role where you support others and contribute to the development of working methods.
