At Byggbeslag Locks & Security, we are now looking for an engaged field sales representative who wants to help develop our initiative within Service & Aftermarket in Umeå and Luleå and the surrounding areas.

Byggbeslag was founded in 1957 and is today one of Sweden's leading suppliers of building fittings, locks, and security. We have approximately 300 employees at 16 locations across Sweden and offer complete solutions within mechanical and digital lock systems, access control, alarms, CCTV, and door environments.

About the Role
As a field sales representative, you are responsible for developing the business within Service & Aftermarket. You work with both new and existing customers, helping them create long-term sustainable solutions through service agreements, maintenance services, upgrades, and other aftermarket offerings.
The role combines sales, consulting, and business development. You are responsible for the entire sales process – from initial customer contact and needs analysis to quote, deal, and follow-up. You work towards clear sales targets with a focus on profitable growth, recurring business, and high customer satisfaction.
A large part of your time is spent out with customers, where you develop existing partnerships, identify new business opportunities, and act as a long-term advisor within security and service.
You work closely with our service managers, technicians, and project managers to ensure our customers receive the right solutions and high-quality delivery.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and process both new and existing customers.
- Sell service agreements, maintenance services, upgrades, and other aftermarket offerings.
- Identify customer needs and create long-term business opportunities.
- Conduct customer meetings, needs analyses, and prepare competitive quotes.
- Drive business from first contact to closing and follow-up.
- Identify upselling opportunities among existing customers.
- Work systematically in CRM with pipeline, forecasts, and follow-up of sales activities.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
- Contribute customer insights and develop our offering within Service & Aftermarket.
- Collaborate closely with the service organization and suppliers to ensure the best possible solutions for our customers.
You report to the Sales Manager Service & Aftermarket.
Who are you?
We believe you have experience in B2B sales, technical service, or the security industry and are driven by developing business together with your customers. Perhaps you currently work as a field sales representative, technical salesperson, or designer. You could also be a locksmith or security technician looking to take the next step towards a more business-oriented role.
Experience with locks, access control, or other security solutions is advantageous, but we value above all your business drive, your curiosity, and your willingness to create long-term customer relationships.
You will be based at one of our offices in Umeå or Luleå and work with customers in northern Sweden.
We are looking for someone who has
- Experience in B2B sales, technical service, or the security industry.
- Good technical understanding and preferably knowledge within locks, access control, or other security solutions.
- Experience in consultative sales is advantageous.
- Good computer skills and experience with the Office suite. Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
