Are you an experienced truck driver with a C/CE license looking to work in a secure and developmental environment in Halmstad? Our client is currently seeking drivers for local and regional distribution with a focus on safety, punctuality, and excellent customer contact. The position is mediated by Lernia and offers varied driving tasks as well as the opportunity for permanent employment with the client.

About the role

As a truck driver, you are responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods within a designated district. The work involves everything from distribution and unloading to ensuring correct documentation and customer contact. You will primarily drive during daytime hours, with the possibility of shift work by agreement.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Drive and deliver goods according to route and time schedules
• Secure the load and perform vehicle checks before and after driving
• Handle unloading and documentation, as well as the use of handheld devices or digital systems
• Collaborate with transport managers and customers to ensure smooth deliveries
• Report any deviations and contribute to safety and quality routines
• Have experience coupling dollies

About you

Formal qualifications

We are looking for someone who is confident in the role of a truck driver, is service-oriented, and has a strong safety mindset. You work independently and are accustomed to planning your time to meet delivery requirements.

To succeed in the role, we expect you to have:

• Valid C/CE driver's license
• Valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC/YKB)
• Valid ADR certificate
• Good local knowledge of Halmstad and surrounding areas, or a willingness to learn the routes
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience with terminal work and the use of digital systems is a plus
