SOMMER Nordic is a Nordic importer of components and automation for doors and gates. We sell to business customers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland, and collaborate with suppliers in Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and more. We are a stable family-owned business with a tight-knit team of approximately 12 employees, and we have a clear ambition to continue growing in the coming years.
About the role
As the Warehouse and Logistics Manager, you are responsible for the daily operations of our warehouse in Fjärås. You will be an integral part of the practical work while also planning, prioritizing, and creating structure to ensure the business runs efficiently.
Since we are a smaller company, you will have a varied daily routine combining practical warehouse work with responsibility for planning and coordinating the daily logistics flow.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Picking and packing
- Goods receiving
- Loading and unloading
- Forklift operation
- Inventory management
- Returns handling
- Booking of transports
- Some contact with customers and transporters
- Ensuring that the correct orders and tasks are prioritized, and coordinating daily work together with our employee in our spring production

We are looking for someone who
- Has experience in warehouse work, preferably in a role with own responsibility
- Is experienced in operating forklifts
- Has good computer skills
- Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Is meticulous, responsible, and self-motivated
- Has a good sense of order and takes initiative
- Thrives in a small organization where everyone helps each other and lack of hierarchy is a natural part of everyday life
Experience working with the business system Fortnox is an advantage.
