Working with us at the orthopedic clinic in Hudiksvall provides broad experience within the nursing profession with opportunities to develop within the field of orthopedics. As a nurse with us, you are offered a fun and continuously developing job within outpatient care at the clinic, as well as rotation to the orthopedic ward one day a week, which is 20 percent. We welcome your application!

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. You will work in a varied and dynamic environment where you work at the clinic and rotate to the ward.

As a nurse at the clinic, you will among other things work with:

• Participating in daily clinic activities, which includes casting, wound dressings, and outpatient surgeries.
• Telephone advice.
• Planning and booking clinic visits.

As a nurse on the ward, you will among other things work with:

• Nursing care, including preventive work against care-related injuries.
• Medication administration.
• Handling medical technology equipment such as infusion pumps, VAC pumps, central lines, catheters, and EDA.
• Documentation and planning for patients during admission and discharge.
• Information and education.
• Participation in the unit's development work and our shared working environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with an interest in orthopedics and a genuine interest and commitment to the well-being of patients. To thrive with us, you need to be able to handle the varied daily life at an orthopedic clinic. You are good at prioritizing and reprioritizing, can switch between different tasks, and handle a sometimes high pace without losing in patient safety and quality. You are responsible and can work in a goal-oriented and systematic manner. You have a pleasant manner and see respectful, attentive, and empathetic communication as an important tool in contact with patients, relatives, colleagues, as well as other internal and external actors. You have good ability to both lead and collaborate.

In the role of nurse, you must:

• Be a licensed nurse with permission to work in Swedish healthcare.
• Communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Previous experience in orthopedics or experience with the Cosmic system is an advantage for the position.
