At Bäckagården, we have both long-term housing and short-term units, and we are now looking for assistant nurses for the long-term housing. Here you will meet people who live permanently with us, while the short-term unit receives people who stay for a shorter period. As an assistant nurse, you are an important part of creating security, quality of life, and meaningfulness for the people you meet – regardless of whether the stay is long-term or temporary.

In the elderly care in Vetlanda Municipality, we work for Esther's best – always with a focus on the user and on how we can strengthen their security and independence.

To enable you to use your competence fully, we have service staff responsible for laundry, waste management, cleaning, and support during meal situations. This means you get more time for what you are trained for – providing care and nursing with high quality. Two of our units are also Star-Marked, which means we have received special training and work actively with person-centered care.

We are looking for you who are secure, responsible, and sensitive, with the ability to meet every individual with respect and care. You work professionally both independently and together with colleagues, and you see the value in contributing to close cooperation between the units to create a whole where both residents and employees thrive.

The positions are permanent appointments at 80 percent with work during the day, evening, and weekends.

Qualifications

• We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse.
• Experience of working with dementia and palliative care is meritorious.
• The position requires an extract from the criminal record register. The extract must be for HVB homes (residential homes for children and young people) and is ordered via the Police's website. Order here (https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/hvb-hem/).
• We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Employment type: Permanent appointment.
Duration: Permanent, start: As soon as possible, according to agreement. Selection and interviews are held continuously.
Working hours: Daytime, evening time, and weekends.
