About the role

As a social worker here, you primarily work with social and psychosocial assessment, evaluation, and treatment based on a holistic view of the individual. You meet with patients and their relatives at various stages of illness and treatment, offering crisis and support conversations as well as guidance on life circumstances, social conditions, and contact with authorities or voluntary organizations.

The overarching goal of the social worker is to create the best possible conditions for patients to handle a changed life situation during the investigation of symptoms, acute, or chronic illness. The work is carried out both independently and in collaboration with team colleagues, through individual conversations and group discussions in cooperation with other professions.

You will become part of a multidisciplinary team within outpatient care and rehabilitation, where several professions collaborate to provide the patient with coordinated support based on medical, functional, and psychosocial needs.

This is a full-time temporary position.

  • have a holistic view and the ability to see both the patient's needs and the department's goals, as well as how different parts fit together in a complex care situation
  • take initiative, drive your work forward, and identify what needs to be done in daily work
  • collaborate well with others and contribute to a flat-hierarchy collaboration within the team to create the best possible support for patients
  • are independent in your working style and confident in making your own decisions within your area of responsibility

Personal suitability is given great weight.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work (Social Worker)
  • At least two years of professional experience as a social worker

Merits:

  • Licens as a Health and Medical Social Worker
  • Experience as a Health and Medical Social Worker
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience leading group discussions
