Stockholm – our capital city of millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone who lives here today and in the future. Now we are looking for you who want to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm.

Bromma District Administration offers you a workplace where your efforts can truly make a difference and contribute to the public good in a growing district. Here, active employee participation and clear leadership are the foundation for a developing operation.

Welcome to us

Do you want to help develop tomorrow's LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations?

With us, you have the opportunity to combine strategic development work with close support to the operations – and see how your efforts make a difference in everyday life.

We are looking for an engaged method developer who wants to contribute to developing working methods, strengthening the pedagogical approach, and creating the best conditions for people receiving support within our LSS operations.

My name is Lena Tolfvenstam, and I am the Area Manager for Bromma's LSS service providers. Together with our management team, we are looking for you who are driven by development, quality, and a genuine commitment to the target group. Here, you will have a central role where you work closely with the operations together with unit managers, support pedagogues, coordinators, and operation developers. Together, you will contribute to a social services department characterized by quality, participation, and professional treatment.

We are an organization with 16 group and service residences, day activities, personal assistance, relief workers, and escorts. The area also includes a resource team that covers sick leave at the units.

The Personal Support Area is responsible for the management, steering, and development of service providers for people with disabilities. As a method developer, you will become a key person in our continued development work. You will have the opportunity to influence how our operations develop, both today and in the future. We look forward to welcoming you who want to be part of creating the best day – every day.

We offer

  • A strategically important role with significant personal responsibility and good opportunities to influence.
  • Close collaboration with engaged colleagues who work together for high quality and good treatment.
  • The opportunity to work close to the operations together with employees and see concrete results of your development work.

Your role

As a method developer, you are responsible for coordinating and developing the pedagogical work within our LSS operations. You are a qualified support to the operations and work closely with unit managers, support pedagogues, and work groups to develop quality, working methods, and competence.

You work both strategically and operationally to translate legislation, research, and proven methods into daily work.

Your main tasks are to

  • Coordinate and develop the district's support pedagogue network based on the city's pedagogical framework.
  • Provide method counseling to work groups within our LSS operations.
  • Develop quality, structure, and systematic approaches in action plans, implementation plans, pedagogical working methods, and documentation.
  • Plan and conduct training, workshops, and other competence-building initiatives.
  • Be an active part of operation development and improvement work.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who have:

  • Relevant academic education, a social work degree, or equivalent education with a focus on social work, preferably towards the target group within LSS.
  • Several years of experience working within LSS operations.
  • Good knowledge of LSS legislation, documentation, and pedagogical methods.
  • Experience in planning and conducting training initiatives and counseling groups.
  • Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), low-affective treatment, and clarifying pedagogy.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Counselor education with a focus on method counseling.
  • Knowledge within the city's pedagogical framework.

To succeed in the role, we believe you

  • Create trust and security in groups and have an easy time leading development processes,
  • Are pedagogical, receptive, and have a coaching approach,
  • Work in a structured manner and drive your work independently,
  • Have good collaboration skills and build strong relationships,
  • Can switch between strategic thinking and practical implementation,
  • Inspire and engage others in change and development work.
  • Are receptive to the needs of employees and operations.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The workplace is located in Bromma with good communication links. As an employee of Bromma District Administration, you are also offered among other things:

  • Option to exchange holiday pay for extra days off.
  • Occupational pension.
  • Health allowance.
  • Benefit bicycle.
  • Flexible working hours.

Stockholm City works with competency-based recruitment aimed at considering each person's competence and thereby combating discrimination.

In the event of an interview, please bring a Swedish/EU EEA ID document or passport as well as relevant original documents for the position, educational certificates/diplomas, any issued professional license, certificate, or work permit.

To work for Stockholm City with children, young people, the elderly, and people with disabilities, including work in their homes, you must show an extract from the Police's criminal record and suspicion register. For work with LSS interventions for children with disabilities, you must submit an extract from the Police's criminal record register. You order the extract yourself, and it must not be older than six months, or one year for work with children, from the date of issue.

Open to all
We focus on your competence, not your other prerequisites. We are open to adapting the role or workplace to your needs.
