There are 33 employees working in the municipality's rehabilitation organization. Organizationally, all physiotherapists and occupational therapists are employed at the same unit, which creates opportunities for collegial supervision, experience sharing, and knowledge exchange. As a new employee, one of our experienced physiotherapists will be your mentor.

Our goal is a rehabilitation service with high quality, where the individual's needs and conditions are at the center. We have a well-developed home rehabilitation service. To achieve this, all rehabilitation staff base their daily work on our different units within elderly care, dementia care, and disability support. Together with the unit manager, nurse, and occupational therapist, you form the leadership team at the unit.

Responsibilities

As a physiotherapist, you will work with assessments and interventions to increase and preserve the individual user's functional capacity. You will be placed within the "Support at Home" operation. Your work will primarily be carried out in home care, but you will also perform work in a nursing home. You will be part of the leadership team in both the nursing home and home care. If needed, tasks may also be performed in other areas within the sector.

You prioritize and plan your day yourself based on cases and the team's needs. You will guide, mentor, and supervise care staff, and through your close collaboration, you will ensure that the individual receives the right support according to their needs. You build good relationships with users, their relatives, and other staff.

A large part of the work will take place in the individual user's home.

Who are you?

You are a licensed physiotherapist.

You have the ability to create security and to meet and understand the user's needs. It is natural for you to have a professional approach in your work, and you always put the user at the center. It is also important that you have the ability to plan and structure your work and have good collaboration skills.

Since documentation and communication are important in your work, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and good computer skills.

Transport between patients is done by bicycle or car. Therefore, you must have a B driver's license and the ability to cycle.

The positions are permanent full-time (100%) positions. Start date by agreement.

Before being offered employment, you as a candidate are required to show an extract from the criminal record for work in any of the following areas; school or preschool, work with children in other activities than school and childcare, work with children according to LSS, work at or in connection with HVB homes (residential homes for youth), work with the elderly or persons with disabilities. You order the extract via the Police's website. The extract must be presented before employment can begin.
