Torsviks School is one of Sweden's most successful primary schools. Founded in 1907, it is Lidingö's most centrally located primary school for grades F-9, just a 15-minute commute from T-Centralen. RESPONSIBILITIES

As an IT Technician with us, you will become an important part of our school day, with your main focus being to support students and teachers in their digital daily lives. Since we have 1:1 solutions, everyone at the school has their own tools in the form of PCs, Chromebooks, or iPads, and you are on hand to ensure the technology works as it should.

Practical support is a large part of the job. This means you help with everything from troubleshooting computers to setting up copiers, projectors, and sound systems when needed. However, the role extends beyond just troubleshooting; you also become a valuable sounding board in our pedagogical and strategic IT discussions, where we look together at how technology can develop teaching. Additionally, you are involved before and during the school's various activities. This could involve preparing systems for digital national tests or ensuring all lighting and sound are perfect for school graduations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have an education with an IT focus or equivalent documented knowledge through work experience, preferably from the school world. Knowledge of municipal organizations is an advantage. You have a foundation in technical knowledge, but we also place great emphasis on the ability to provide good customer service and engagement.

As a person, you are receptive and unpretentious, with the ability to contribute to a good working climate within the unit. You are communicative and service-oriented. As an IT Technician, it is required that you are handy and practical, liking to find solutions. You also need to be self-sufficient in your work and enjoy providing service.

Employment type: Permanent position.

The municipality applies individual salary setting. Start date by agreement. The position is a permanent part-time position at 80%.
