The National Board of Institutional Care (SiS) is a government agency responsible for individually adapted involuntary care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse problems. SiS LVM-home Hornö receives men with alcohol, drug, or poly-substance abuse. We also admit men with mental health issues and men exhibiting externalizing behaviors. Our mandate is to provide care for clients with special care needs.

Job Description

We are currently seeking nurses for fixed-term positions.

As a nurse, you will be part of a team responsible for healthcare services at the institution. This includes, among other things, responsibility for the doctor's clinic and medication management. You will conduct your own health assessments, prioritize client needs, and train and delegate parts of medication management to relevant staff. You will also create routines and structures that meet the requirements for healthcare provided within SiS. Healthcare personnel document their work in the journal system "Take Care." The position is varied and requires initiative, offering significant opportunities to influence your own work and the daily lives of our clients.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed nurse, preferably with experience from addiction care, psychiatry, emergency care, or similar fields. You are flexible, work independently, dare to make decisions, and collaborate easily with staff at all levels. Personal suitability is highly valued. A valid Class B driver's license and access to your own car are required.
