We at Valdemarsvik Health Centre are looking for a new colleague and welcome you to apply to our workplace. We work intensively with the development of "Close Care" and collaborate closely with the municipality's home care and ambulance services.

Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centres, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency clinics in the evenings and weekends, and the General Medicine Education Centre. We provide a broad primary care service where we offer care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients in the terminal stages of life.

Valdemarsvik Health Centre, part of the Primary Care Centre (PVC), serves an area of approximately 7,800 inhabitants, mostly in rural areas. We have approximately 30 employees at the health centre. In addition to the basic primary care mandate, advanced palliative home care is provided. With upcoming retirements within the team, we need to strengthen our staff with one additional colleague.

Job Description

The work at the Child Health Care Centre (BVC) involves independent work with health examinations of children aged 0–6, parent education, and home visits according to the child health care program. You will work together with another BVC nurse and in close collaboration with the municipality. We always strive for good working conditions and will offer you a tailored introduction based on your experience and needs. A rural area supplement applies to this position. The role may also involve some clinic work and telephone advice.

About you

You are a district nurse/general nurse or pediatric nurse, preferably with experience in primary care/BVC.

You have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, equivalent to C1 level.

You are passionate about working in child health care and work well with other people, relating to them in a sensitive and flexible manner. You have good initiative and the ability to make independent decisions. Your communication style is clear; you are confident and stable, and you have well-founded and clear values that guide your actions. Regarding planning and organizational skills, you work efficiently and can prioritize your tasks. You have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in change. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability and that you are the right person for our operations.
