Falck provides mobile healthcare services and currently performs ambulance care, lying patient transport, and deceased transport on behalf of Region Östergötland. From October 1, 2026, Falck will also provide ambulance care for Region Skåne. As a nursing assistant in ambulance care at Falck, you will encounter an exciting and varied environment where, together with a nurse, you can be the first on the scene at an accident site. You will collaborate with the police, rescue services, and emergency physicians. You are responsible for driving the ambulance during emergency responses and ensuring that the correct equipment is always available so that you can perform your duties in a patient-safe manner.

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with:

• Advanced training in ambulance care.
• At least 2 years of experience as a nursing assistant in inpatient care.
• C1 driver's license with good driving skills and local knowledge.
• Good physical fitness due to heavy lifting of patients, and swimming proficiency (200 meters of any stroke).
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• Experience from emergency care, pre-hospital care, or emergency ward.

Other:

• Permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period beginning in January 2027. Working hours according to agreement.
• Location: Your work area is Östergötland. Please specify in your application which of our stations you are most interested in basing yourself from. Vacancies are available in Motala and Kisa. Alternatively, a pool position is available, meaning you will work at all our stations in Östergötland (Kisa, Åtvidaberg, Ödeshög, Mjölby, Linköping, Motala).
• Recruitment process: The process includes an interview, driving test, physical test, check with IVO (Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare), and a criminal record extract. Proof of swimming proficiency is required.
