Do you want a fun and meaningful job? A job where you work with people who may not always think like everyone else but who can enrich your day and where you get a chance to make a difference in someone's daily life. Our work is guided by our values: respect, engagement, responsibility, and a focus on housing. Our vision is to create quality of life based on each individual's needs. Our operations are located in the beautiful nature of Dänningelanda, approximately 1 mile south of Växjö. In Dänningelanda, we have several operations within LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). We are looking for one or more residential support workers for a temporary position during the autumn/winter, with good opportunities for extension. You should have an interest in providing care and support to residents with various functional variations. We are seeking engaged residential support workers for our facility, where we provide housing for adults with disabilities according to groups 1 and 2 under LSS. We want you to work using a low-affective approach, be open to changes in the operation, and be able to collaborate with your colleagues based on the routines and structures in place at the workplace.
Employment
- Wellness allowance of 2,500 SEK/year
- Start date: August 2026 or by agreement

- Collective agreement with Kommunal
Your Role
You are responsible for providing individually tailored support to residents in all aspects of daily life, together with your colleagues, to strengthen their self-efficacy. You assist residents with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and hygiene. You always base your work on each resident's individual needs and right to self-determination. A large part of the job involves contributing to the resident's independence and well-being based on their individual conditions.
You should be active, enjoy planning, and take initiative with those living in the facility, while adapting your communication so that residents feel understood and respected. The work also includes administrative tasks such as social documentation and creating implementation plans, which requires good computer skills. You should have a professional yet close, motivating, and security-creating approach towards the residents you are responsible for.
The position involves working days, evenings, and weekends (separate night shifts) according to a rotating schedule.
