About the position

As a Production Technician, you work closely with the operations organization and support technical problem-solving during operational disruptions and breakdowns to strengthen the plant's operational safety. You are responsible for planning and prioritizing preventive and non-urgent maintenance efforts and play a central role in planning the annual shutdown, in close collaboration with both the operations and maintenance organizations.

The position involves many contact points and close collaboration with operators, supervisors, the maintenance organization, and external suppliers.

The position belongs to the Production Development department, which consists of production technicians, production engineers, process engineers for environment/energy, and laboratory operations. Together, the department works to develop processes, optimize production, and ensure a sustainable business.

Qualifications:

• Technical high school education or equivalent competence as assessed by the employer.
• Experience from working as a production technician or similar role, or other experience that the employer considers equivalent.

Merits:

• Several years of experience from the pulp and paper industry.
• Post-secondary education in production technology, process technology, pulp technology, or a corresponding field.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a probationary period according to collective agreement. The location is Vallviks Bruk outside Söderhamn.
