Do you want to work independently with electrical-related controls while being part of a competent team? We are looking for a Facility Technician specializing in electricity and controls who will be stationed at our client in Uppsala, operating within the life science industry. In this role, you are responsible for the planning, execution, and documentation of various electrical technical controls, with a special focus on testing and controlling residual current devices (RCDs).

The role offers great freedom under responsibility, where you plan and structure your own working day. You work independently but always have support from knowledgeable colleagues when needed. With us, you will have a varied and autonomous role where you become an important part of the delivery to our client. You will have the opportunity to work in a business where quality, collaboration, and development are in focus. Working hours are 07:00 – 16:00, but earlier morning shifts and weekend work may occur.

• Plan and perform tests on residual current devices (RCDs)
• Carry out electrical-related controls according to current routines
• Document performed controls and measures
• Work with follow-up and administration in Excel
• Ensure that documentation is correct and up to date
• Plan and coordinate your own work in dialogue with the client and colleagues
• Participate in troubleshooting and collaborate with other technical staff as needed

Your background

• Experience working in facility technology, electricity, or similar technical operations
• Have good administrative skills and are meticulous with documentation
• Are accustomed to working in Excel and digital systems
• Are self-motivated and thrive when taking personal responsibility
• Have a structured approach to work and good planning skills
• Are service-oriented and find it easy to collaborate with both clients and colleagues
• Have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
