We are looking for an engaged occupational therapist who wants to help create conditions for participation, independence, and a meaningful everyday life for individuals within LSS (Swedish Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), supported housing, and day activities.
We offer a varied and developmental role where you have great opportunities to influence both the individual's quality of life and the development of the operations. You will become an important part of our rehabilitation team and work closely with physiotherapists, nurses, unit managers, and care staff.
Start date: According to agreement.
Job Responsibilities
As an occupational therapist, you work to strengthen the individual's ability to perform activities and their independence based on the person's own goals and conditions.
The work includes, among other things:
- Assessing activity and functional capacity.
- Planning, implementing, and following up on occupational therapy interventions.
- Prescribing, testing, and following up on assistive devices.
- Mentoring and educating staff in a rehabilitative approach and interaction methods.
- Collaborating with users, relatives, colleagues, and external healthcare providers, including executing service purchases for the region.
- Documentation in the medical record system Viva.
- Contributing to operational development and quality work.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Licensed occupational therapist.
Merits:
- Experience working within LSS, social psychiatry, or municipal rehabilitation.
- Experience with assistive device prescription.
- Experience with cognitive aids and cognitive support.
- Experience in mentoring and educating staff.
- Knowledge of low-arousal approach and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
