Do you want to become part of Region Jämtland Härjedalen – a region to look forward to and grow in? Here, you contribute to development and growth throughout the county and work to offer the best possible service, care, and support for everyone who lives in or visits the region.

We offer a work environment characterized by collaboration, participation, and engagement, where both breadth and specialized competence are valued. Here, you have the opportunity to develop in your role, whether you are new to the profession or have extensive experience.

In Region Jämtland Härjedalen, quality of life is in focus. The magnificent nature is always close by. Here, you live comfortably and can fill your free time with experiences throughout Härjedalen.

Are you the colleague who completes our team? We are looking for two more colleagues to join our friendly group of general practitioners with an interest in rural medicine.

We offer the best solution for you regarding digital solutions, schedules, and setup, so that you can get the most out of both work and leisure. You are also a member of our staff association, which offers a variety of activities.

We develop together in the work with good and close care, the primary care of the future! As a doctor, you have a patient list based on approximately 1,100 patients, which enables continuity and security. An engaging person-centered way of working together in the team at the health center.

Working in a rural area means you get to develop and challenge your knowledge level under moderate workloads, as you treat many different conditions and provide final treatment for more conditions than in a city.

Sveg is one of a handful of health centers in Sweden located quite far from a hospital (190 km). We have approximately 4,500 patients listed with us. This, combined with the tradition of having been a district hospital, makes working in Sveg exciting. Among other things, there are two close care units, X-ray, a laboratory, and much more that makes the rural challenges particularly interesting.

The unit is characterized by deep commitment and responsibility for the operations conducted in Härjedalen. The foundation of the work is reception activities with broad primary care responsibilities at well-equipped health centers with maternal health services (MHV), child health services (BHV), and X-ray. On weekdays, Sveg's health center has a light emergency service. Some work on the Close Care Unit (NÄVA) is also included, a collaboration between the Region and the Municipality. During the winter season, we also operate branch activities at the ski resorts Lofsdalen and Vemdalsskalet.

2 positions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The work with us as a specialist in general practice involves standard reception work with scheduled and emergency visits, home visits, and, if necessary, digital visits. There are also opportunities for assignments within SÄBO (care for people with intellectual disabilities), BVC (child health services), MVC (maternal health services), and supervision of trainee doctors. You have the opportunity to adapt your daily schedule according to your own preferences, particularly regarding administrative time. We have regular doctor meetings locally at the unit as well as jointly in the close care area, and regular continuing education in the form of five days of training per year. These days help create a strong general medical community in the region. In addition, you are offered a place in an FQ group for training and group reflection for five days per year. On-call shifts are included in the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a specialist in general practice, or at the end of your specialty training (ST) in general practice, and want to work for the benefit of the residents. Independent research and research supervision are meritorious but not a formal requirement for the position.

You should be self-reliant, curious, and driven. We see that you contribute to a good work climate and, with your expertise, support other doctors and professions.

We work a lot in teams, and good collaboration skills are very important to us.

Employment type: Permanent position.

In Region Jämtland Härjedalen, our work is permeated by our core values: we create value for those we serve, act with initiative, and strive to always be perceived as reliable. Here, you have the opportunity to work in an organization where these values shape everyday life and where your work truly makes a difference.

As an employee, you have access to a wide range of benefits through our benefits portal. We care about your health and offer a wellness allowance or wellness hour. At Östersund Hospital, you can also exercise for free at the Zefyren gym and participate in instructor-led sessions.

Selection and appointment may take place continuously during the advertising period, so we would appreciate it if you submitted your application as soon as possible.

We have an established recruitment process and therefore kindly but firmly decline contact with advertising salespeople or other sellers of recruitment services.
