Here, you will work with elderly people or individuals with disabilities, either in their homes or in residential settings. This job offers valuable experience in interacting with diverse people.

Job Responsibilities

Care work is varied, fun, and rewarding, where you provide support and assistance to people in their daily lives. You are there to provide support and care, create security, and contribute to meaningful days.

Our operations vary depending on the needs of those requiring our help. Within home care services, we help people manage their daily lives in their own homes. For elderly individuals needing more extensive support and care, we offer senior housing.

In these operations, your workday is filled with tasks such as assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, medication management, cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, rehabilitation training, and contact with relatives, among others. It also involves creating joy of life, motivation, and inspiration for our care recipients through walks, social time, and other activities.

For individuals with physical or mental disabilities, there are various workplaces available, such as group homes, residential facilities, day activities, and supported living. The target group also varies in age, as we work with both adults and children/young people with disabilities.

As an employee in such operations, you support and motivate individuals with mental or intellectual disabilities in their daily lives, e.g., in matters regarding home maintenance, personal hygiene, cooking, shopping, laundry, etc. You plan, carry out, or support various social activities, individually or in groups.

Qualifications

We do not require prior knowledge or work experience, but to thrive and do a good job, you need to have a genuine interest in people.

As a person, you are calm, receptive, and self-assured, and you enjoy working with people. You have a good ability to work both independently and with others.

We will focus on your social competence and your willingness to learn a valuable profession. Personal suitability is of great importance.

It is meritorious if you have completed or are currently studying the Care and Nursing Program, the Nursing Program, or another suitable care education. It is also meritorious if you have work experience in care work. If you have worked for us before and have good references, this is also a plus.

In all areas, you must have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and be open to taking responsibility for medication delegation. You should have good computer skills as we work with electronic documentation.

To work in our operations, you must be at least 18 years old.
A Class B driver's license is required for work within home care and support for disabilities. Please state in your application if you have a driver's license.

Employment Type and Conditions

Employment Type: Summer Job / Holiday Work.
Duration: 11 days - 3 months.
Start Date: According to agreement. It can be immediately, during spring, or as soon as possible for the summer. In our questionnaire, you specify when you wish to start working.

In the questionnaire linked to the application, you answer questions such as whether you want to work full-time or part-time, day or night shifts, and which type of operation you prefer. You also specify when you wish to start and which weeks you are available to work this summer.
