Construction Project Manager at the Community Planning Administration

The Community Planning Administration offers creative dialogue, a fast-paced environment, solution-oriented working methods, and gives you the opportunity to drive and participate in changing community planning processes. We are a collaborative administration between Hällefors, Lindesberg, Ljusnarsberg, and Nora municipalities with a broad mandate within the municipalities' community planning processes.

The administration consists of two main areas of operation: technical operations, and construction and environment.

The position of Construction Project Manager belongs to the administration's construction project unit, which has its office in Lindesberg and consists of a dedicated work group of 3 designers and 4 project managers. The project group carries out approximately 30 construction projects per year, most of which are within roads and water/sewage (VA).

As an employee with us, you are offered the opportunity to be part of a larger context as we work together for a well-functioning everyday life for our citizens. We develop society and have a broad mandate within waste and recycling, water and sewage, as well as the maintenance of the municipality's roads.

We offer an organization focused on sustainable and socially beneficial projects, opportunities for competence development, and flexible working methods.

1 position(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Construction Project Manager, you drive projects that make a real difference in people's everyday lives. You plan, lead, and follow up on construction projects from idea to finished facility.

The role involves preparing construction starts by applying for permits, making agreements with property owners, and resolving technical issues together with colleagues from the road and water/sewage operations. During the projects, you coordinate many different actors, from internal specialists such as designers, traffic engineers, and planning architects, to external contractors, consultants, and authorities.

You are responsible for procurement, follow-up of contracts and warranty commitments, and ensure that project plans, quality, schedules, and budgets are followed. The work alternates between the office and the field, between planning and practical implementation. Something that makes the role both varied and developing.

This is a task where you get great personal responsibility, but also support from experienced colleagues and close cooperation with many other competencies within the community planning area.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a relevant education, with at least 3-5 years of experience in project management within construction, land/infrastructure work, or equivalent experience as assessed by the employer.

It is meritorious if you have, for example, a civil or university degree in road and water construction, and if you have experience of projects within VA, roads, and highways.

You have experience of LOU (Public Procurement Act) and the application of AMA Infrastructure, MER Infrastructure, AB04, ABT06, ABK09, and express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

As a person, you are structured and independent, with a strong ability to plan, prioritize, and take responsibility for your work. You are responsible and hold the whole together, even when several projects are ongoing simultaneously, have leadership skills, and have a solution-oriented attitude towards what arises along the way.

We value initiative and creativity, and would be happy if you bring ideas and suggestions that drive the work forward.

You thrive in collaborations, are open to others' perspectives, and are good at motivating and cooperating with different stakeholders. When faced with complex problems, you see opportunities rather than obstacles and have a solution-oriented approach that allows you to tackle challenges with curiosity and engagement.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Requirement of a B driving license.

Together with your CV, we would like you to send a cover letter and tell us why you are applying for this position.

Employment type: Permanent.
Duration: Permanent.
