About the role

This is a full-time consulting assignment lasting 10 months. You will be employed by Bravura and work as a consultant at Essity. There are good opportunities for extending the assignment.

Responsibilities

As a Buyer, you work with indirect procurement, primarily within IT software and HR services. You are responsible for one or more categories and drive procurement activities at a European level. The role involves both operational and tactical work, where you are expected to take a holistic approach to the supplier base, cost drivers, and business opportunities.

You will analyze spend data, identify savings initiatives, and conduct tenders. The work is carried out in close collaboration with both local and global teams to ensure that strategies are implemented and that working methods are uniform. You work actively with e-sourcing tools, primarily Ariba, and ensure that contracts are used correctly.

The role also includes improving processes and contributing to more efficient procurement flows, as well as identifying opportunities to coordinate procurement volumes.

Examples of tasks:

• Responsible for procurement within one or more categories within indirect procurement
• Drive tenders and RFQs in Ariba
• Manage and develop the supplier base and lead negotiations
• Analyze spend and price data to identify savings opportunities
• Ensure compliance with contracts and procurement strategy

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• At least 2 years of work experience in procurement
• Advantageous with experience in procurement within IT or HR services
• Experience in working with tenders and supplier negotiations
• Proficient in analyzing data and working with cost optimization
• Experience with Ariba or similar systems
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

In this role, you need to be able to take personal responsibility and drive your work forward without waiting for clear instructions. You are accustomed to handling complex situations and take a structured approach to problems to find solutions that work in practice.

You find it easy to collaborate with different types of stakeholders and adapt your working method depending on the situation and business needs. The role also requires you to be analytical and able to translate data into concrete actions.
