The Rehabilitation Unit is part of the Social Services Administration and consists of seven occupational therapists and six physiotherapists.
We work in close collaboration with other staff within care and social services in the municipality's special housing, short-term housing, home healthcare, and home help services, as well as for individuals receiving support under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). We work with all of Härjedalen as our workplace, based in the locations Funäsdalen, Hede, and Sveg.
Location: Sveg.
The position is a temporary assignment (100%) with the possibility of extension.
Recruitment and interviews take place continuously during the application period. Start date: 2026-08-01 or as agreed.
Job Description
- You work with assessment and training in activities, as well as guidance and instruction for patients, relatives, and care staff.
The duties also include home adaptations and prescription of assistive devices.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Licensed occupational therapist or eligibility for licensure by the agreed start date.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
- Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required for work in elderly care and adult disability services.
Merits:
- Previous experience from municipal operations, both in elderly care and LSS.
- Completed some form of advanced education in transfer techniques.
In addition to adequate education level and experience, great importance is placed on personal suitability.
