Do you want to become part of an engaged and knowledgeable team where collaboration and development are in focus? We are now looking for a physiotherapist to join our team due to a colleague's leave of absence and a planned generational shift in the work group.
Here, you will become one of eight physiotherapists within the Unit for Care and Health, contributing broad competence and great commitment together. The team's main assignment is directed towards our citizens living in LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and SoL (Social Services Act) housing, and includes certain personal assistance services. There is also a physiotherapist in the work group responsible for day activities, but this part is not included in this position.
We offer a workplace with close collaboration, support from experienced colleagues, and good opportunities for competence development. You will participate in regular physiotherapy meetings and professional meetings together with occupational therapists, as well as cross-professional team meetings with occupational therapists, nurses, and district nurses. Of course, you will also participate in our workplace meetings.
Our goal is for the citizens we meet to be able to live as independent and participatory a life as possible based on their own conditions. Therefore, we work with the citizen in the center and base our work on the individual's needs, resources, and wishes.
The position is a permanent full-time (100%) employment with annual working hours. The working hours are scheduled during office hours, which provides good conditions for a balance between work and leisure. You will be based at our office at Österängsparken, Förlandsgränd 1C.
Your new job
Your tasks include assessment, treatment, functional assessments, prescription of assistive devices, orders, and action proposals based on the individual's needs and conditions. An important part of the assignment is to work preventively by educating, supervising, and giving clear orders to housing staff, so that interventions can be carried out close to the individual in daily work.
We work in close cooperation with housing staff and other professions to provide secure and cohesive support. As a physiotherapist, you will regularly participate in workplace meetings at the housing facilities you are responsible for, annual health and care planning (HOV), as well as in coordinated individual planning (SIP), care planning prior to hospital discharge, and cooperation with primary care and habilitation, among others.
You cooperate daily with the citizen, relatives, and other professions around the citizen. You plan a large part of your work yourself and have great opportunities to influence how you structure your workday based on the needs of the operations and the citizens. The Unit for Care and Health is a clear and integrated part of the team, where we together work to create the best possible conditions for health, participation, and an independent life.
Common tasks
- Meet with citizens and housing staff, and inform, supervise, and motivate regarding action proposals and treatment interventions, with a special focus on health-promoting work
- Cooperate with other professions in the team, such as occupational therapists and nurses/district nurses, as well as with housing staff and unit managers
- Conduct assessments and treatments based on the citizen's needs
