The municipalities of Hudiksvall, Bollnäs, Gävle, Ockelbo, Sandviken, Söderhamn, Nordanstig, Hofors, and Ovanåker, together with Region Gävleborg, have formed a joint occupational health service. We serve just over 30,000 employees in the county. Today, we are 46 employees located in Bollnäs, Hudiksvall, Sandviken, and Gävle. We are now looking for an occupational health nurse based in Sandviken, but work will also take place at the occupational health service's other units, primarily in Hofors, which also involves travel as part of the role.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

In addition to your professional role, all employees at Region Gävleborg's occupational health service are also occupational health and safety consultants. You will support our customers in systematic occupational health and safety work and will be part of a multiprofessional team. The tasks include assignments at the individual, group, and organizational levels from a health-promoting, preventive, and supportive perspective. Key factors in our work are a holistic view and a consultative approach. The work is varied, where you will support managers and operations in occupational health and safety matters.

As an occupational health nurse and occupational health and safety consultant with us, you will among other things work with:

• alcohol and drug rehabilitation
• vaccinations
• statutory medical examinations
• triage-type conversations
• work-oriented rehabilitation and work adaptation
• occupational health and safety assessments
• training within the occupational health and safety area

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a person who is flexible and interested in creating opportunities and development together with others. A prerequisite for teamwork is the ability to collaborate, humility, and engagement. You should have an interest in systematic occupational health and safety work and how you can support managers in operations in a health-promoting, preventive, and supportive manner in this area. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

In the role of occupational health nurse, you must:

• be a registered nurse
• hold a valid Category B driver's license.

For this position, it is meritorious if you have occupational health nurse education, experience in working consultatively, and if you have previously worked within occupational health care. A background as a district nurse is also considered meritorious. It is important that you have an interest in working broadly as an occupational health and safety consultant in addition to your duties as an occupational health nurse.

Interviews are planned for week 34.
