Different professions complement each other with their unique competencies, and together with high engagement, we create quality and a sense of teamwork. We have a well-developed introduction program with training days and opportunities for personal development. Currently, we work on a schedule with duty for 2 out of 5 weekends. RESPONSIBILITIES
In your work as a nurse, you are responsible for basic and specific nursing care. You work close to the patient and are responsible for patients where medical treatment and associated examinations take place in close collaboration with several professional categories such as assistant nurses, doctors, rehabilitation teams, coordinators, and contact persons for the municipality/primary care.
The department is equipped with monitoring systems for continuous recording of arrhythmia and ischemia. In your work, you deepen your knowledge of the heart and lungs' circulation and how it affects the patients. We care for patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmia, as well as patients with lung disease who may need NIV and Optiflow. Patients requiring continuous blood pressure monitoring (arterial line) and needing vasopressors/inotropic treatment are also found on the department. The care we provide is partly protocol-driven, so we can start treatments independently directly after contact with a doctor.
We are now in the early stages of opening a follow-up clinic for our heart patients who have recently been discharged from inpatient care. The patients coming here will largely be followed up by a nurse who performs predetermined orders and/or treatments. The work at the follow-up clinic is independent, but you always have a cardiologist to consult if needed.
In Trelleborg, you have good opportunities to develop based on your own competence. It is also expected that you as a nurse participate in our scheduled training days for continuous competence development of the group.
It is important to us that you as an employee feel security and stability while constantly receiving stimulation and development at your workplace. As a nurse with us, you are assigned a mentor and will have regular reflection time together with mentors and other new colleagues within our operational area.
The position is for a permanent employment with day and evening work, but there may also be opportunities for some night shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who want to drive the unit forward together with the team leader, colleagues, and your nearest manager. You adapt easily to changed circumstances and have the ability to handle and prioritize when the pace is high. As a person, we want you to take responsibility and make your own decisions based on science and proven experience. We also value that you are engaged, interested in learning, service-oriented, and have good collaboration skills. You are engaged with the patient, flexible in your work approach, and possess good communication skills. We want you to see opportunities instead of obstacles and be an ambassador for development and improvement. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
