We are now looking for you who want to work with us at Arbetscentrum (Employment Centre) on a temporary contract during the autumn!

This is a meaningful and varied assignment where you make a direct difference for others. It is a fun and rewarding job where you meet a broad target group.

Arbetscentrum is a unit where we provide assessed employment according to the Social Services Act, within the city's Social Psychiatry department. At Arbetscentrum, you will be part of a work group with 6 colleagues. Our operations are located in Hässelby.

Your role

The operations are aimed at adults with mental and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities who have been granted the support measure of "employment" (sysselsättning). Employment with us means structured activities based on individual goals and plans.

Employment involves offering an active daily life with social contacts, as well as contributing to recovery and a future with opportunities for studies, internships, or work. Currently, we have employment groups within areas such as textiles, color and form, ceramics, mindfulness, computers, gym/swimming, music, paper crafts, baking, and more. Some groups are held on-site in our premises, while others are held off-site.

• As a work instructor, you are responsible for several groups and serve as a contact person for several clients participating in our employment program. You lead some groups yourself and share leading duties for others with a colleague.

• The work includes writing implementation plans, journal notes, and some other administration. You collaborate with social workers (biståndshandläggare) and other important partners such as housing support staff and relatives.

We work fixed hours, i.e., daytime Monday–Friday. We have staff meetings every week. Once a month, the work group receives supervision from an external supervisor. Scheduled time for documentation and administration is provided.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who have:

• A basic education in nursing with a focus on psychiatry, or another education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Experience working with the target group.
• Good skills in sewing, textile handcrafts, and knitting.
• Experience working pedagogically with groups.
• Good knowledge of social documentation.
• Good proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
