Your Role

We are looking for an engaged and driven leader with experience in integration and verification who wants to lead, develop, and inspire our team of system integrators and system verifiers.

As Section Manager, you have personnel, budget, and operational responsibility for a group of approximately ten employees. You are responsible for the budget and financial follow-up, and you lead the section's work with integration, verification, and acceptance tests related to our customer deliveries within Giraffe xA. The section plays an important role in the business and contributes in several areas, including:

• Customer activities and customer deliveries
• Service projects
• Operation, maintenance, and further development of our system rigs
• Marketing activities and customer demonstrations

You will also become part of the management group for System Design Giraffe xA. Together, we drive the development of the business, share responsibility, and support each other by leveraging the group's combined competence and different strengths.

System Design Giraffe xA is part of the Business Area Surface Sensor Solutions, which among other things has global responsibility for Saab's land and naval radar systems. The responsibility includes everything from marketing, sales, and product management to R&D, integration, and verification, as well as after-sales activities.

We have offices around the world, with the largest located in Gothenburg. Our assignments and challenges require close collaboration with other section managers in Integration and Verification.

Your Profile

As a leader, you have the ability to organize and prioritize, make decisions, delegate, and lead with a holistic perspective. We believe that you are solution- and results-oriented, have significant willpower, and are challenged by working in a demanding environment. You are a pronounced team player with an interest in people, and you understand the importance of building cross-functional collaboration with other functions within the organization. You have an interest in developing people and operations.

For the position, it is meritorious if you have experience in integration and verification, customer contacts, and support operations. It is also meritorious if you have previous experience working with radar technology or within the defense industry and the Swedish Armed Forces.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
