Your next workplace

Packaging made from our high-quality cardboard is a crucial part of the shopping experience for our customers' customers. We are an international and sustainable operation with significant development opportunities for all employees. We highly value our employees and products. Today, approximately 750 employees work here. Our mill is located on the coast of Hälsingland, 9 kilometers south of Hudiksvall.
You will become part of the Development section, where we work closely with production, the laboratory, marketing, and other specialist functions. Here, you will work in an environment where innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement are a natural part of everyday life.
Your next challenge
You will work closely with production and contribute to daily improvement work, focusing on stability, quality, and efficiency in existing processes. You will drive and execute initiatives from analysis to follow-up, with the opportunity to translate needs into practical actions that make a difference right now. You will become a key link between development, laboratory operations, production, and marketing. The role is varied and offers the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally, where you see the results of your work implemented in practice.
In this role, you will among other things:
- Lead development projects within product care as well as product and process development.
- Plan, conduct, and evaluate test runs and production trials together with our production departments.
- Be responsible for the execution of experiments and test runs in production.
- Participate in laboratory experiments and translate results into improvements in operations.
- Contribute to investigations of customer cases and complaints as needed, and participate in market-related development activities.
- Ensure that projects are carried out according to set goals, schedules, and quality requirements.
In this role, you will work with advanced product development in close collaboration with engaged colleagues while contributing to the development of future sustainable cardboard solutions.
To succeed in the role
We are looking for someone who enjoys driving development together with others and is motivated by combining technology, project management, and problem-solving. You are accustomed to creating structure in complex projects and find it easy to collaborate with different functions.
We see that you have:
- A university degree in engineering (Civilingenjör or Högskoleingenjör).
- Experience in independently leading projects from planning to execution and follow-up.
- Good ability to plan, prioritize, and document your work.
- A valid driver's license (Category B).
It is an advantage if you have education in pulp and paper technology or chemistry, as well as experience from the pulp and paper industry or other process industries. Experience in product development, process development, or production-oriented development work is also a plus.
As a person, you are collaborative and thrive in cross-functional work. You take initiative, drive development forward, and have a structured approach where quality and documentation are a natural part of your work.
We offer you
Here, you get the best of both worlds. At Iggesunds Bruk, you work in a flat organization with fast decision-making paths and short distances from idea to implementation. While we are small enough for you to have an impact, we also have the strength of a corporation with the muscle to execute development and change. We offer a highly varied, free, and responsible job. We have an open and welcoming atmosphere permeated by our values: courage, engagement, and responsibility. This is a unique opportunity for you who want to work in an international company with developmental tasks, but still see advantages in working and living in a smaller town.
