We are now looking for an engaged and structured purchaser for our purchasing unit – a central support function where you will have a key role in ensuring efficient, sustainable, and secure procurement.

Your workplace is centrally located at Guldsmeden in Hudiksvall, where you will sit together with your direct manager and colleagues.

Responsibilities

As a purchaser in Hudiksvall Municipality, you will have a key role in the municipality's purchasing work. You are responsible for conducting procurements in accordance with LOU (The Public Procurement Act) and ensuring that our purchases are characterized by business-like conduct, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.

You collaborate closely with the municipality's various operations to plan, lead, and follow up on purchases. The role also includes holding dialogues with suppliers and other stakeholders, as well as providing support through advice and training in procurement matters. The position offers independent and varied work with great opportunities to influence.

Requirements:

• Relevant university education in the field or other education that the employer deems equivalent
• Experience in purchasing
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer literacy

Merits:

• Experience in procurement or purchasing within the public sector
• Experience in procurement or purchasing of contracts/entrepreneurship
• Experience in strategic purchasing work and/or project management
• Experience with procurement systems
