The Role of Nursing Assistant with Us

The work as a nursing assistant in home care involves a high degree of independence and personal responsibility, while you collaborate closely with colleagues – always with the care recipient's best interests in focus. You meet people with varying needs and work in their home environment, where you create security and continuity. The role includes practical interventions such as personal care, meal support, and motivating for various activities. The work is varied and requires that you thrive with a flexible pace.

You will drive a car in the service, and you will work from a schedule that is planned every weekend. You will have the opportunity to perform health and medical care interventions after instruction and delegation from a nurse, as well as documentation done digitally.

You love working with people; you are a joy-bringer who gives energy to your care recipients and colleagues. You contribute to the experience of security by taking responsibility for tasks and providing reliable and professional treatment. As a person, you thrive working independently and can adapt to changed circumstances, seeing opportunities in everyday life. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for you who:

• are a trained or studying nursing assistant
• express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent position where the weekend assignment is time-limited for six months with a chance of extension. The employment rate is 71 or 85 percent, with a schedule planned only for Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday, plus time for workplace meetings (APT).

Before an employment offer is made, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented. The type of record extract to be requested is Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities. Background checks may be conducted before employment.

As of July 1, 2023, "nursing assistant" is a protected professional title.
