Your Responsibilities
We are now looking for an engaged EHS Coordinator for a project with Siemens Energy, focusing on chemical management and dangerous goods. This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to work in an international environment where safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement are the focus.
Siemens Energy works proactively with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and has a clear ambition to be a leader in the industry, both in their own operations and in projects carried out at facilities around the world.
In this role, you will be an important part of the EHS work, with primary responsibility for chemical management within the operations. You will support operations in workshops and offices and ensure that work is conducted in accordance with current legislation and internal requirements.
In the role, you will among other things:
- Be responsible for chemical management and ensure compliance with current legislation.
- Handle applications for the introduction of new chemicals and register them in iChemistry and SharePoint.
- Drive and support operations in risk assessments related to chemicals.
- Plan, administer, and follow up on the annual chemical inventory.
- Administer and develop work in iChemistry.
- Provide support and guidance to operations regarding chemical management.
- Create user support and cheat sheets for iChemistry.
- Monitor and handle incoming inquiries via the mailbox for chemical matters.
- Act as the contact person and coordinator for dangerous goods (Dangerous Goods Coordinator) and collaborate with the company's safety advisor.
- Provide support to operations regarding the transport of dangerous goods.
- Administer and follow up on training needs regarding chemical management and dangerous goods.
Your Profile
We are looking for you who have:
- Very good knowledge of REACH, CLP regulation, chemical legislation, safety data sheets, and chemical management.
- Experience with chemical administration and risk assessment work.
- Experience with iChemistry or similar systems for chemical management.
- Knowledge of regulations for the transport of dangerous goods is an advantage.
- A structured working method and good administrative skills.
- Good collaboration and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
