Job Responsibilities

The role of a personal assistant means becoming an important part of another person's daily life. You are there as a secure support in both small and large tasks, everything from helping with personal care and practical chores at home to creating structure, accompanying on activities, and contributing to a meaningful and active day.

The role is as much about presence and responsiveness as it is about practical tasks. You help make everyday life function, but also ensure it is pleasant, safe, and full of opportunities.

As an assistant, you become a person the client can trust, someone who notices the details, adapts to the daily mood, and always works with respect for the individual's integrity and wishes. This is a job for you who likes to make a real difference.

Both care and LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) interventions are included in the job responsibilities.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a great interest in working with people and who have a high work ethic. You should be driven, confident, and not afraid of challenges. You should be comfortable working independently and able to make autonomous decisions. It is also important to be able to function in a work group. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

We would prefer that you have education in care or personal assistance. Previous experience in the assistance profession is meritorious.

You must have a valid B-driver's license for manual transmission as well as a completed upper secondary education. Prior to employment, you must provide an extract from the criminal record register (extract for residential homes for youth), in accordance with current regulations.
