The Economics Department at LTH is now looking for an engaged and meticulous Economic Administrator who wishes to develop together with us and contribute to our important activities in research and education. The Economics Department is part of LTH's Registry Office and works with follow-up, budgeting, and analysis of the faculty's operations. We provide decision support to the management and support the departments in their economic management. If needed, we also assist with economic administration. The department currently consists of six employees: four economists, one economic administrator, and one head of economics.

Tasks and responsibilities
In your role as an Economic Administrator at LTH's Registry Office, your main tasks include various data compilations, reviewing travel expense reports, writing decisions, and ongoing economic work such as invoicing and bookkeeping. You support, inform, and collaborate with LTH's managers and economists in economic matters, supporting both the Registry Office and the departments, which gives you a broad network with many skilled colleagues in different parts of LTH. Your placement is at the Registry Office, but assignments at our departments may also arise, where you will come closer to our research and educational activities. We work flexibly within the department, and the content of the employment may change in line with operational needs. Therefore, we are looking for a newly graduated Economic Administrator who is willing to develop with us and take on greater responsibility in the long run.
Qualifications
Requirements for the position are
- University degree in Economics at bachelor's level
- Good knowledge of economic planning, accounting, and follow-up
- Good computer skills, especially in Excel and Word
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of English

Other information
The position is permanent with a scope of 100 percent, with a start date as agreed. Probationary period may apply.
We plan to conduct interviews during weeks 33-34 (August 10-21).
