Do you want a challenging and rewarding job in a homely environment? We are now looking for a Support Pedagogue for a full-time position distributed across two units, Andstigen and Snäppvägen, within LSS group housing in Skattkärr, Karlstad.

About the role
As a Support Pedagogue, you work together with your colleagues in the direct work with the users. This also involves driving and applying Nytida's framework for pedagogy and contributing to the design of personalized pedagogy for the users. The goal is to support users in utilizing their cognitive and social abilities, strengthen their self-esteem, and enable a health-promoting life by acting as a role model and motivating physical activity.

Together with other employees, you work to make the days meaningful and content-rich. You perform care-oriented work, ensure pleasant premises, and participate in activities with the users. You will also mentor and support employees in social documentation and implementation plans, mentor new hires, and collaborate with the operations manager and group leader in development projects. You report to the operations manager, and becoming a manager can be a future career opportunity. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and as a night watch.

About the unit
Andstigen and Snäppvägen are group homes for adults who fall under person group 1 according to LSS and have an intellectual disability, autism, or autism-like conditions. The residences are located in Skattkärr, approx. 10 minutes from central Karlstad, and have 5 places each.

Your experience and knowledge
You are educated as a Support Pedagogue from a University College or have relevant higher education. You have good computer skills, experience with documentation, and good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. Additional requirements include experience working with the LSS target group.

As a person, you have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people. You are responsible, meticulous, and enjoy working in a team. You are happy to share your experiences and support colleagues in pedagogy, documentation, and interaction.
